Adoptees; Birth Mothers/Bio Parents; Adoptive/Foster Parents

Are you an adoptee, birth mother/biological parent or adoptive/foster parent?

Do you want to claim your purpose, and move forward as your best self?

Do you work for an agency, non-profit or for-profit organization who works with any/all of the above populations?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then we might work well together.

I’m an adoptee with my own unique origin story. No adoption story is the same, and some can be challenging to navigate. I offer Individual Coaching for those of you who are adoptees, birth mothers/biological parents or adoptive/foster parents. I also offer Group + Individual Coaching for groups of adoptees, birth mothers/biological parents or adoptive/foster parents. I offer individual/one-on-one coaching for those of you who are adoptees, birth mothers/biological parents or adoptive/foster parents… or group coaching for groups of adult adoptees, birth mothers/biological parents or adoptive/foster parents… those of you who want to ride the collective energy of the group as you support each other in intimate coaching sessions.

Whether one-on-one or in a group, coaching sessions are not necessarily focused on being an adoptee, birth mother/biological parent or adoptive/foster parent. However, they will likely cover themes that may be common challenges for those of you who self-identify with one of these groups. As examples, some adoptees may experience issues related to identity, abandonment, guilt or security; some birth mothers/biological parents may experience issues related to shame, loss, sadness, grief or feeling unrecognized; and some adoptive/foster parents may experience issues related to identity, guilt or overwhelm. I think it’s fair to say that the one common theme that all three groups may share is fear of some kind. As humans, we all tend to experience issues related to fear, and these fears can become magnified if you are an adoptee, birth mother/biological parent, or adoptive/foster parent, and are unsupported in learning to deal with them. Furthermore, the interpersonal dynamics between adoptees, birth parents and adoptive/foster parents can be tricky, and loaded with a web of emotions that are difficult to navigate, especially if you’re not feeling fully grounded or connected to your truest, fullest self.

For adoptees and birth mothers/biological parents wanting to engage in a search, or adoptive/foster parents wanting to help their adoptee children search, it’s important for me to note that I am not a consultant, advisor, or in any way an expert on cross-searching for biological family. I do not assist my clients with searches. However, what I do engage in with Practical Transformation Coaching, is partnering with you to learn what is real and true about you – uniquely – regardless of the role you play in the adoption triad… and supporting you as you craft ways to productively and sustainably move forward in life with that wisdom.

If you work for an agency, non-profit or for-profit organization who works with adoptees, birth mothers/biological parents and/or adoptive/foster parents, let’s have a conversation about how we might work together. I offer custom individual or group plus individual Practical Transformation Coaching when you’re a member of the adoption triad clearly falls into that category. I also offer guided visualization sessions for individuals, as well as group visualization programs and workshops, where I help clients envision, feel and believe what could actually be.

Were you raised in the absence of a biological parent, and left feeling the need to fill in the blanks? I can help.

Or… Do you ever label yourself with having “imposter syndrome” or being in “identity crisis? I’d be honored to help you unpeel those unhelpful labels and get in touch with the real meaning behind why you’re feeling the way you are. It goes way deeper than terms and labels can ever go.

The perspective I have from my own bio and personal growth story, life experience, professional training, and a deep desire to help you claim your unique purpose and spread it out into our world, empowers me to work with you. I won’t be telling you what to do. Instead, I’ll be listening to you deeply, and asking important questions that help you to gain insight, ideas and tools to move forward in sustainable ways.

Note: if you (or the audience your organization serves) are presently unable to function emotionally in your daily life, then coaching is not advisable at this time. Once you work with the right licensed therapist or other licensed clinician, and are feeling emotionally stable, then I’d be happy to have a conversation about how I can help you move forward with your personal and/or professional goals, and to fully access your Truth, Identity & Purpose.
